Cardi B surrendered to New York City police on Monday morning in connection with a strip club brawl, TheWrap has learned.

The “Be Careful” rapper turned herself in, along with nine other suspects, at the 109th Precinct in Queens at 10:00 a.m. ET.

Cardi B wasn’t arrested, but will be ordered to appear in court, for orchestrating an August attack on two bartenders at Angels Strip Club in Queens, according to the NYPD. Cardi B believed one of the bartenders had slept with Offset, her husband, according to TMZ.

The 25-year-old breakout star will likely be charged with reckless endangerment, according to a police spokesperson.

Cardi B told her crew to throw chairs, bottles, and a “hookah smoking device” at the bartenders, named Jade and Baddie Gi, according to TMZ. Cardi B left the precinct on Monday morning after receiving her court summons.

Cardi B made her name on VH1’s “Love & Hip-Hop,” before her debut album, “Invasion of Privacy,” thrust her to the top of the hip-hop food chain earlier this year.

She’s released a string a string of hit singles, including “I Like It” with J Balvin, but also been hit with several legal issues as well. Cardi B and Offset have been sued for a “savage assault” on an autograph seeker, and her ex-manager is seeking $10 million for breach of contract.

Cardi B and Offset Sued by Hotel in ‘Savage Assault’ Case

It looks like Cardi B and Offset are heading into the weekend with some more legal woes on their hands.

Rapper Cardi B and her husband, Migos rapper Offset, who are being sued by a man who says he suffered a “savage assault” when he sought an autograph, have now been hit by cross-claims by the hotel where the alleged assault is said to have occurred.

In the new paperwork, filed Friday in New York Superior Court, the Mark Hotel says that Cardi B and Offset are to blame for potential liability arising from the suit, and that they should pay for any judgment rendered against the hotel, which has also been named as a defendant.

“In the event that Defendant Mark Hotel LLC (“Mark Hotel”) is held liable for all or any part of the damages alleged to have been sustained by Plaintiff, as set forth in the Complaint, or any cross-claims, which liability is expressly denied, such liability will have been brought about and caused solely as a result of the fault, negligence, acts or omissions, want of care and/or breach of contract on the part of Belcalis Almanzar p/k/a Cardi B, Kiari Kendrell Cephus p/k/a Offset and Quality Control Management LLC, without any fault, negligence or want of care on the part of Mark Hotel,” the paperwork reads.

In his suit, filed in May, Giovanni Arnold alleges that the couple ordered a beatdown after verbally threatening him.

“This action arises following a savage assault that took place in the early hours of May 8, 2018 outside a Met Gala afterparty. Upon seeing Cardi B and Offset exit the Mark Hotel, Mr. Arnold asked for an autograph. Not willing to stop for a fan, Cardi B and her entourage blew past the Plaintiff, ignoring him,” the suit, assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, reads. “When Mr. Arnold repeated his request, Cardi B turned to Plaintiff and threatened to ‘slap the s– outta’ him. Defendant Offset then directed Mr. Arnold to ‘shut up, bro, before a n–a beat you out here.’ As Defendants Cardi B and Offset entered their waiting vehicle, they ordered the Unknown Assailants to attack Plaintiff.”

According to the suit, a trio of men “savagely beat Plaintiff, punching him and then stomping on his face while he was on the ground” before fleeing the scene.

Arnold says that he was “severely injured” as a result of the alleged attack, which he says took place at approximately 2:15 a.m. on May 8.

According to Arnold, one assailant took a swing at his face, sending him to the ground, after which he “was punched and kicked repeatedly.”

“Plaintiff, who never once physically lashed out at Defendants, laid on the ground protecting his face and body while the Unknown Assailants piled on top of him and continuously hit him,” the suit reads.

The suit also claims that Cardi B and Offset “frequently instigate violent confrontations with fans and individuals,” and that the “brawl marks the third time Offset has been accused of provoking violence.”

TheWrap has reached out to representatives for Cardi B and Offset for comment on the hotel’s cross-claims.

Cardi B Goes Silent on Instagram and Twitter After Fight With Azealia Banks Kicks Up a Notch

The feud between Cardi B and Azealia Banks just got so bad that the former deactivated her Instagram account and set her Twitter profile to private. While we can’t say if the “Bodak Yellow” singer went dark on social media because of her beef with Banks, fans have been quick to point out the timing is, uh, suspect.

“If azealia banks made cardi b deactivate her instagram AND make her twitter private then that means my good sis spoke nothing BUT FACTS the truth hurts don’t it LOL,” one user tweeted.

The most recent development in the rappers’ rumble came when Banks appeared on the syndicated radio show “The Breakfast Club” on Friday and called Cardi B an “illiterate, untalented rat” and a “caricature of a black woman” — among other insults.

“Two years ago, the conversation surrounding black women’s culture was really reaching an all-time high,” Banks said, referencing Beyonce’s album “Lemonade.” “There was just this really, really, really intelligent conversation going on nationally and then everything just kind of changed and then it was like Cardi B.”

“I’m just talking about this caricature of a black woman that black women themselves would never be able to get away with,” she added. “Like, if my spelling and grammar was that bad, I’d be canceled. If Nicki Minaj spelled like that, we would be ragging on her all day.”

It didn’t take long for Cardi B to respond to Banks’ shade.

“I’m from the hood. I speak how I speak I am how I am. I did not choose to be famous people choose me! People followed me on Instagram and the people gave me a platform to introduce my talent,” Cardi wrote in the Instagram post. “I never asked to be a example or a role model I don’t want to change my ways because I’m famous that’s why I just mind my business. This is coming from a woman that bleached her skin but want to advocate. GOODBYE. Im not apologizing or kill myself because of who I am.”

Banks fired back with a series of tweets saying: “So because I point out that you get away with being the typical caricature of a black woman that society says is wrong … and you respond by calling me unattractive and bringing up skin bleaching to basically make fun of me for not being light skinned?”

“The difference between me and you,” she wrote, “I’ve never pretended to be or represent someone I’m not1 I’ve made it where I am for being myself and staying true to that. I’m not trying to represent nobody but myself.”

Cardi B Defends Fiance Offset: I Know He’s Not Homophobic (Video)

Cardi B has weighed in on the lyric controversy faced by her fiancé Offset last week, and is defending the Migos rapper after he was accused of using homophobic lyrics.

“I’m not going to let somebody call him ‘homophobic’ when I know that he’s not,” the 25-year-old rapper said in a video on Periscope over the weekend. “I’m saying this because I seen him around these … around gays, and he treats them with the same respect he treats everybody. He never acts uncomfortable and he just don’t care.”

She also said in the video that instead of getting angry, those offended by Offset’s use of the word “queer” should “educate people about it.”

“It has a different vocabulary on the dictionary,” Cardi B continued in the video.

“Now, that’s a word that you guys say that it’s a bad word for gays — I never even heard that word in the first place,” she said. “Why don’t y’all educate people about it? A lot of people are not aware about what’s wrong or right in the LGBT community. Why don’t we do things to educate instead of bashing and trying to label something that they not?”

Offset came under fire for using “queer” in a guest verse on YFN Lucci’s “Boss Life.” The rapper apologized last week, saying he was offended that he offended anybody.

He used the dictionary definition of the word in his apology, saying that “to me that “queer” I don’t mean someone who’s gay. I mean lame people who film you, post it and stalk you. Lingo that means strange or odd.”

“I didn’t write the line about gay people. I have said before since these issues before that I got love for all people,” he said.

Offset Apologizes for ‘I Cannot Vibe With Queers’ Rap Lyric, Pulls Out Dictionary in His Defense

Migos member Offset has apologized for rapping that he cannot “vibe with queers” in a recent guest verse.

“I didn’t write the line about gay people. I have said before since these issues before that I got love for all people,” the rapper wrote in an Instagram post featuring a screenshot of a dictionary entry defining the word as “strange; odd.”

The rapper was criticized for his verse on YFN Lucci’s 2017 track “Boss Life,” in which he rapped the line: “Pinky ring crystal clear, 40k spent on a private Lear/60k solitaire/I cannot vibe with queer.”

“I saw this definition about her having a queer feeling she was being watched and it fit what I was thinking about a stalker creepy paparazzi situation,” he wrote, referencing the example sentence provided. “To me that ‘queer’ I don’t mean someone who’s gay. I mean lame people who film you, post it and stalk you.”

This is not the first time a Migos member has been called out for homophobic comments. In an interview with Rolling Stone early last year, Quavo said the rapper iLoveMakonnen’s decision to come out as gay “undermines his credibility.”

The group later issued a statement of apology saying, “We love all people, gay or straight and we apologize if we offended anyone.”

I didn’t write the line about gay people. I have said before since these issues before that I got love for all people. My passion for fashion has lead me to a lot of gay people around me who I have mad respect for and we are very cool so I’m not in a place where I’m hating like that. When I wrote that I was thinking of words that could rhyme with the others (here, lear, solitaire, bear) and I saw this definition about her having a queer feeling she was being watched and it fit what I was thinking about a stalker creepy paparazzi situation. To me that “queer” I don’t mean someone who’s gay. I mean lame people who film you, post it and stalk you. Lingo that means strange or odd. Cardi B won’t be making money moves alone anymore.

The rapper, whose single “Bodak Yellow” has been on Billboard’s Hot 100 list for weeks, got engaged to Migos rapper Offset in the middle of the Power 99’s Powerhouse concert at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia Friday night.

In a video posted by the Wells Fargo Center on Twitter, you can see the Migos rapper get down on one knee while Cardi B rightly freaks out. You can’t hear her answer, but considering he places the 8-carat ring on her finger, it’s safe to say she said yes.
