Randy Rainbow Channels Madonna in Latest Trump Take Down With ‘Border Lies’

Randy Rainbow’s latest Trump spoof is… well, off the wall.

The YouTuber channeled Madonna’s 1980s hit “Borderline” while poking fun at President Donald Trump’s recent Rose Garden press conference in which he went over his plan to call for a national emergency last week to fund his southern border wall.

“Border lies, freaking us out while you dramatize,” Rainbow sang. “All the stats you claimed you’ve been shown back in your border lies.”

“Border lies, great for distracting from Russian ties, more insulting than your skin tone, talkin’ about border lies,” Rainbow goes on to sing.

Rainbow has lampooned some of Trump’s biggest head-scratching comments since he first entered into the presidential race.

In October, Rainbow spoofed First Lady Melania Trump’s “Be Best” campaign with a video called, “Just Be Best!” to the tune of the “Beauty and the Beast” classic, “Be Our Guest.”

In 2016, he posted a parody of an interview Melania Trump did with CNN’s Anderson Cooper.

“It is an honor to be sitting here with a truly remarkable woman,” Rainbow said as he introduced Melania. “A woman whose initials, when spoken aloud, describe not only her mind but also her body and soul.”

Meet Gavin de Becker, the Security Expert in Charge of Jeff Bezos’ Investigation

Read on: TheWrapTheWrap.

For years, Hollywood stars in need of protection could count on Gavin de Becker.

The 64-year-old is now at the center of the Jeff Bezos saga, tasked by the Amazon founder with finding out who leaked his private photos and texts to the National Enquirer. He wants to know if David Pecker, a longtime associate of President Trump and head of the Enquirer’s parent company, American Media Inc., conducted a politically motivated hit job against Bezos.

In a lengthy blog post on Medium Thursday, Bezos said Pecker had threatened to publish the photos unless he dropped the investigation into AMI.

Here are five things to know about the de Becker and his investigation.

De Becker has established himself as the go-to guy for stars in need of peace of mind. Past clients have included Robert Redford, Jane Fonda, Joan Rivers, Madonna, Cher, Olivia Newton-John, Michael Ovitz, Gary Shandling and John Travolta.

De Becker has been involved in several high-profile cases, advising prosecutors in the O.J. Simpson trial and providing security for Bill and Camille Cosby after their son’s murder in 1997.

He also ran security for former President Ronald Reagan and his family during their time at the White House, according to The New York Times.

In 2001, he also helped provide privacy to George Harrison when the Beatles guitarist was dying of cancer.

De Becker helped develop a computer program called MOSAIC, a risk assessment system that helps evaluates levels of threat facing high-risk individuals and can predict future violence.

People logging onto the website are asked 46 questions to determine how much of a threat an abuser poses to an individual or family members.

“MOSAIC expresses its results on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the most likely to escalate — including homicide,” according to Oprah.com.

Speaking of Oprah, in the last year of Winfrey’s show, she dedicated two hour-long episodes to de Becker’s work in domestic violence.

De Becker has authored several books, including, “The Gift of Fear,” which became an instant bestseller after a gushing Winfrey endorsed it on her show.

The book had reached No. 4 on the New York Times’ bestseller list, according to the Los Angeles Times, and has been published in more than a dozen languages, according to de Becker’s site.

De Becker and his security firm established The Private Suite at Los Angeles International Airport, a secluded and exclusive luxury compound serving VIPs looking to for privacy.

The facility, which opened in May 2017, offers “unprecedented ease as well as high-end security, seamless logistics, and five-star services,” according to Forbes.

Natalie Portman Apologizes to Jessica Simpson for ‘Virgin’ in a Bikini Comment

Read on: TheWrapTheWrap.

Natalie Portman has apologized to Jessica Simpson after being accused of body shaming the singer in a recent interview.

“I would never intend to shame anybody and that was absolutely not my intention,” Portman told Entertainment Tonight Wednesday night. “I was really talking about mixed media messages out there for young women and completely apologize for any hurt it may have caused because that was definitely not my intention.”

The offending comments came while Portman, who plays a fictional pop star in her new film “Vox Lux,” was praising Madonna for being a strong role model for young girls when she was growing up.

“I felt really lucky to have her as a little kid, because I saw someone who was brazen and disobedient and provocative and trying to mess with people and always changing — I thought it was a great thing to see in a woman growing up,” she told USA Today.

But Portman juxtaposed her compliment by criticizing the mixed messages that Simpson sent out early in her career. “I remember being a teenager, and there was Jessica Simpson on the cover of a magazine saying ‘I’m a virgin’ while wearing a bikini, and I was confused. Like, I don’t know what this is trying to tell me as a woman, as a girl,”  the Oscar-winner said.

The accidental jab did not go unnoticed by Simpson, who voiced her dismay on Twitter Wednesday.

“@Natalieportman I was disappointed this morning when I read that I ‘confused’ you by wearing a bikini in a published photo taken of me when I was still a virgin in 1999,” Simpson, now a 38-year-old mother of two. “As public figures, we both know our image is not totally in our control at all times, and that the industry we work in often tries to define us and box us in.”

The daughter of a minister, Simpson first rose to fame as a teen pop star before entering the reality TV world on “Newlyweds” during her short-lived marriage to 98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey. She’s since remarried and rebuilt her career around a successful fashion empire and is pregnant with her third child.

Portman, herself a child model and actress, went on double down on her apology to Simpson.

“What I said was I was confused by mixed messages when I was a young girl growing up, and there are a lot of messages for how women should be, and women should be allowed to do whatever they want,” she said, adding: “It is a mistake to say anyone’s name,” she says. “I could have made my message without naming.”

“Vox Lux,” which also stars Jude Law, Stacy Martin and Christopher Abbott, opens on Dec. 7 in limited release before expanding everywhere on Dec. 14.

Piers Morgan Shredded for ‘Woman Shaming’ Madonna: ‘Truly Vile Scum’

Read on: TheWrapTheWrap.

Maybe Piers Morgan should consider another Twitter detox.

British media personality and social media crank Morgan took a shot at “Vogue” singer Madonna on Thursday, and received quite the shellacking himself.

Morgan took aim at Madonna via Twitter, posting an image of her from the Daily Mail.

“Madonna PICTURE EXCLUSIVE: Singer, 60, displays remarkably smooth complexion and gold grill as she enjoys a late night dinner in London,” the Mail’s headline read.

Morgan’s assessment was considerably less complimentary.

“Yikes. Is it Halloween already??” Morgan wrote.

While some commenters found humor in Morgan’s jab, many more went after the “Good Morning Britain” personality.

“Maintaining your show-business persona must be a pain in the arse for you Piers – having to say something ‘funny’ (often at someone else’s expense) on a regular basis,” read one response. “People age. Madonna’s starting to look like a nice old lady. Will you grow out of being a schoolboy? Who knows ?”

“Bullying @piersmorgan – not cool man,” read another reply.

“How rude, glass houses?!” another Morgan detractor weighed in.

“Woman shaming. Nice work,” another commenter wrote, adding an eyes-rolling emoji.

“I quite enjoy your very witty riposte to the odd Twitter offender but this is rather ‘ungentlemanly’ conduct!” another critic wrote.

And then there was, “Why are you so unpleasant? Is there really any need to attack people’s appearance constantly? Kindness costs nothing.”

“That’s a mean thing to say,” another disappointed commenter wrote. “So disrespectful.”

On the more coarse end of the criticism, there was, “You’re such a c–tface Morgan. Truly vile scum you are! Just f— off!”

This isn’t the first time that Morgan has taken aim at Madonna. Prior to the 2016 election, when the singer tweeted a topless photo of herself in an effort to persuade voters to support Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, Morgan responded, “This might swing the election…to @realDonaldTrump,”

That same year, Morgan took another shot at Madonna, calling a video of the singer “grotesque” and saying it made him “physically sick.”

Madonna Defends Aretha Franklin Speech at VMAs: ‘I Did Not Intend to Do a Tribute’

Read on: TheWrapTheWrap.

Madonna defended her long speech at Monday’s MTV Video Music Awards on Tuesday, explaining that she “did not intend to do a tribute” to Aretha Franklin with the speech.

“I was asked to present video of the year by MTV! And then they asked me to share any anecdotes I had in my career connected to Aretha Franklin!” the singer wrote in an Instagram post. “I shared a part of my journey and thanked Aretha for inspiring me along the way.”

Madonna presented Camila Cabello with the Video of the Year award on Monday night but entered the stage with a portrait of Franklin projected on the screen behind her. She opened with an anecdote about singing Franklin’s “(You Make Me Feel Like) a Natural Woman” at an audition, a long and roaming story that seemed more relevant to Madonna’s life and career than to Franklin’s.

Viewers at home roasted Madonna on social media, complaining that the speech did a disservice to the late soul singer, robbing her of the proper tribute she deserved.

“I did not intend to do a tribute to her! That would be impossible in 2 minutes with all the noise and tinsel of an award show,” Madonna wrote in her Instagram post. “I could never do her justice in this context or environment.”

“Unfortunately most people have short attention spans, and are so quick to judge,” she continued. “I love Aretha! R.E.S.P.E.C.T.”
