Adele Plays Musical Shots at NYC Gay Bar, Jennifer Lawrence Tackles Her When She Loses (Video)

Read on: TheWrapTheWrap.

Adele and Jennifer Lawrence really lived it up on Friday night as they hit up New York City gay bar Pieces, where the “Hello” singer played a round of musical shots… and was promptly tackled by her bestie when she lost.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the duo went to the Greenwich Village bar during a drag show hosted by Brita Filter. Adele took part in musical shots (which, yes, is musical chairs but with shots), singing to Kylie Minogue’s “Can’t Get You Out of My Head.” When the music stopped, she didn’t get a glass, so JLaw pushed her to the ground and said, “How could you lose?!”

Someone in the crowd then told her, “Jennifer, this isn’t ‘The Hunger Games’!”

Other videos have started circulating on Twitter and Instagram from their big night out. In one video, the Grammy winner is on stage with Brita Filter, telling the crowd, “Hi, I’m Adele!” and that she’s currently a stay-at-home mom.

Lawrence and Adele have been best buds for a while — in 2015, they had a big outing with pal Emma Stone in New York, as well.

‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ Director Just Goes Ahead and Says Who Will Die, and It’s [Spoiler Warning]

Read on: TheWrapTheWrap.

“X-Men: Dark Phoenix” director Simon Kinberg has just spoiled his own movie and mentioned who will die in a new interview.

Last chance. Huge Spoiler Warning!

Still with us? OK, in the opening moments of the new trailer, Jean Grey/Dark Phoenix (Sophie Turner) murders shape-shifting mutant Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence)! In an interview with EW, Kinberg explains what made him want to reveal such a shocker in the new trailer.

“Well, the thought process behind that was to primarily show that this is a movie that is unlike other X-Men movies,” said Kinberg. “It’s a movie where shocking things happen, where intense, dramatic things happen. People don’t just fall off buildings and dust themselves off and walk away. There’s a reality to this movie and a consequence to this movie. Even more than that, it was to show that Jean/Dark Phoenix is genuinely a threat to everyone, including the X-Men.”

“I felt it was the strongest, most dramatic thing for the movie, and sometimes you have to make those kinds of hard decisions to service the larger story,” added Kinberg. “And the larger story really is Jean cracking up, losing control because she’s more powerful than anyone else in the world. To dramatize that properly, you have to show real loss, you have to show real pain and show real threat and menace.”

For those who don’t know, the film is based on the highly celebrated and influential “X-Men” storyline of the same name by Chris Claremont and John Byrne, as detailed in “Uncanny X-Men” #101-108 (1976-1977) and “Uncanny X-Men” #129-138 (1980). In that story, Jean Grey merges with a cosmic entity that embodies the universal energy of creation and destruction, giving her vastly enhanced psychic abilities that transform her into “Dark Phoenix,” a genocidal force of unimaginable power.

The film was written and directed by Kinberg, and also stars Jessica Chastain, Michael Fassbender, Tye Sheridan, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult and Evan Peters.

“X-Men: Dark Phoenix” hits theaters June 7.

Just in time for your rainy day needs, it’s a brand new trailer for “Dark Phoenix,” and it’s full of cosmic, destroyer-of-worlds action — and crying in the rain. Watch it above.

Pretty intense! And uh, sure looks like the trailer wants you to think that Jean Grey (Sophie Turner) is gonna murder Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence). Watch out, J-Law! There are also some pretty cool shots in this one — especially of Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee), and Storm’s (Alexandra Shipp) lightning.

It gets worse from there, involving (spoiler) intervention by an alliance of interstellar empires, and the tragic death of Jean. But don’t worry — comics hardcores know Jean is later revealed to be innocent, and still alive. (It’s weird — look, comics are weird, guys).

The film was written and directed by Simon Kinberg, and also stars Jessica Chastain, Michael Fassbender, Tye Sheridan, Olivia Munn, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, and Evan Peters.

Hacker of Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton Nude Photos Gets 8 Months in Prison

Read on: TheWrapTheWrap.

George Garofano, one of the men who hacked into approximately 240 Apple iCloud accounts of Hollywood stars — including Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton — and non-celebrities, has been sentenced to eight months in prison.

After his time served in the penitentiary, Garofano must undergo three years of supervised release and perform 60 hours of community service, according to court documents obtained by TheWrap. Garofano, who pleaded guilty to the computer crime in April, was sentenced Wednesday in a federal court in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Garofano was one of four men arrested in the 2014 hacking scandal, which led to the leak of private photos of Kim Kardashian, Kirsten Dunst, Vanessa Hudgens, Rihanna, Kate Bosworth, Hayden Panettiere and Lake Bell, among others.

Thus far, Garofano has received the lightest prison sentence among the conspirators. Ryan Collins got 18 months. Edward Majerczyk was given nine. The fourth man involved, Emilio Herrera, has pleaded guilty and is scheduled to be sentenced next month.

The men gained access to iCloud accounts through an email phishing scandal, in which they posed as Apple security and requested a user change their password. The cyber crime took place over the course of several years, and resulted in the leak of nude photos.
