Melania Trump to Give First Sit-Down Interview as First Lady on ’20/20’

Melania Trump will give her first sit-down interview as First Lady to Tom Llamas on ABC’s “20/20”, the network announced Thursday.

The interview will air as part of “Being Melania – The First Lady,” a special edition of the news show that will air Friday, Oct. 12 at 10 p.m. ET. Llamas, ABC News’ “World News Tonight” weekend anchor and chief national affairs correspondent, went with Trump during her recent solo trip to Africa.

Prior to broadcast, excerpts from the interview will be shown on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” “World News Tonight with David Muir,” “Nightline,” ABC News Live, ABCNews.com, ABC News Radio, and ABC NewsOne. In addition, excerpts will be streamed via “On Location” on Facebook Watch and ABC News’ mobile, OTT apps and social platforms.
