Luann de Lesseps is not interested in bargaining — even if it’s plea bargaining.
“Real Housewives of New York City” personality de Lesseps rejected a plea deal Wednesday in a felony case against her stemming from her December arrest in Florida, a representative for the prosecution told TheWrap.
The representative was unable to disclose the details of the rejected deal, as plea offers are not public record.
De Lesseps was charged last month with resisting an officer with violence, a felony, as well as misdemeanor charges of trespassing and disorderly intoxication.
The felony charge carries a possible sentence of up to five years, while the misdemeanors carry sentences of up to a year.
De Lesseps was arrested after an alleged Dec. 23 incident. According to the Palm Beach Post, the reality star was accused of slamming a door and kicking at least one police officer. She also reportedly told people, “I’m going to kill you all” prior to her arrest.
Following her arrest, the reality star announced her intention to seek treatment.
“After the events last Saturday night in Palm Beach, I am truly embarrassed,” she tweeted. “I have decided to seek professional guidance and will be voluntarily checking into an alcohol treatment center. I intend to turn this unfortunate incident into a positive life changing event.”
