“Friends From College” is heading back to town.

Netflix has renewed the comedy from co-creators Nicholas Stoller and Francesca Delbanco for an eight-episode second season.

The series centers on a group of Harvard pals played by Keegan-Michael Key (Ethan), Cobie Smulders (Lisa), Annie Parisse (Sam), Nat Faxon (Nick), Fred Savage (Max) and Jae Suh Park (Marianne).

Focus Features is closing in on acquiring “Thoroughbred,” after some competitive bidding, TheWrap has learned.

The deal is reportedly in the $5 million range for world rights after the film made its premiere on Saturday at the Library Center Theatre and drew interest from buyers that included The Orchard and Netflix.

“Thoroughbred” is written and directed by Cory Finley and stars Olivia Cooke, Anya Taylor-Joy, Paul Sparks, Francie Swift, Kaili Vernoff, and features the final on-screen appearance of Anton Yelchin who died in a tragic accident last year.

“Thoroughbred” focuses on two teenage girls in suburban Connecticut who rekindle an unlikely friendship after years of growing apart. In the process, they learn that neither is what she seems to be — and that a murder might solve both of their problems.

The film was produced by Andrew Duncan, Alex Saks, Kevin Walsh, Nat Faxon and Jim Rash.

Executive Producers are Ryan Stowell, Ted Deiker and Declan Baldwin.
