“Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough said on Tuesday that President Donald Trump didn’t think he would actually win the election, accusing his winning campaign of simply being “a money-making scam.”

Scarborough, who has gone from Trump alley to one of his staunchest critics, recently told TheWrap the only way the president cold repair their relationship would be to resign.

“He thought Jeb Bush was going to beat him…he was going to take the money and run,” Scarborough said on Tuesday’s show. “This was all a money-making scam.”

‘Morning Joe’ Guest Rips Sheriff Joe Arpaio: ‘He Was Running a Concentration Camp’ (Video)

MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” ripped President Trump for pardoning former Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio, who guest Mike Barnicle said was “running a concentration camp.”

Arpaio had been convicted of criminal contempt of court in a racial profiling case but was given a presidential pardon by Trump on Friday. Co-host Joe Scarborough doesn’t approve and said, “The list of horrors this guy has implemented is staggering.”

Barnicle and New York Times reporter Nick Confessore were on hand to chime in, noting that the investigation started while George W. Bush was president and that child abuse cases went dark under Arpaio if the kids were the children of immigrants.

Barnicle said a list of controversial things that Arpaio has done was published in a local newspaper.

“Half of the things on the list are absolutely shocking,” Barnicle said. “He was running a concentration camp. That’s basically what he was doing.”

Scarborough said, “Donald Trump mistakes this for being tough on law and order.”

He continued: “This is obvious to Democrats and Republicans alike that this guy is a complete thug, he doesn’t respect the rule of law… Yes, he had the authority to do this. But if articles of impeachment, years down the road, are ever brought up against [Trump], these are the sort of things that are going to be attached in abuse of powers.”

‘Morning Joe’ Guest Says Trump Creates ‘Chaos Unmatched in Presidential History’ (Video)

“Morning Joe” regular guest Mike Barnicle slammed President Trump on Friday, saying his recent comments were “chaos unmatched in American history.”

During a Thursday White House press conference, Trump slammed Majority Leader of the Senate Mitch McConnell and threatened North Korea, while taking questions from the press.

Co-host Joe Scarborough set Barnicle up to go off on Friday, asking what he noticed when Trump talked “to the press for the first time in a long time,” nothing that “unsettling” things were said.

“You saw a level of chaos that’s been unmatched in presidential history. You saw a president of the United States literally try to go and an unstable regime into doing something completely crazy that would change our world forever. You saw a President of the United States who clearly doesn’t understand the concept of legislating in Washington,” Barnicle said.

Barnicle then said that Trump needs an ally in Washington.

“You do need, at some level, at some point, a friend. Some friend to help you, whether it’s Mitch McConnell, whoever it is, Paul Ryan, whoever it is,” Barnicle said. “You saw a level of selfishness and self-absorption, on the part of the President of the United States that is unmatched in American history.”

Barnicle concluded by saying, “Yesterday was truly beyond bizarre.”

‘Morning Joe’ Compares Trump to Someone With Dementia (Video)

MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough ripped Donald Trump on Tuesday, saying the president’s recent comments about Andrew Jackson and the Civil War sound like someone with dementia.

“My mother’s has had dementia for 10 years,” Scarborough said. “That sounds like the sort of thing my mother would say today.”

Scarborough continued: “That’s something that a 5-year-old might ask, but that is not anything that any grown up, that I have been around in my entire life would ever let pass from their lips.”

Co-host Mika Brzezinski said “it’s disturbing” that there isn’t anyone in the White House who can get Trump to stop talking.

“I can only imagine that his staff is sitting there with their head in their hands,” she said. “No one can stop him… He’s not listening to anyone.”

Scarborough also offered a review of Trump’s recent interview with “Face the Nation” host John Dickerson, when the president essentially kicked the reporter out of the Oval Office.

“He was mumbling, rambling around, incoherent and then just sort of quit talking,” Scarborough said.

Regular guest Mike Barnicle chimed in, calling it “depressing to read the transcripts” that come after an interview with Trump.

“He rambles on,” Barnicle said.

‘Morning Joe’ Blasts Mayor Bill de Blasio’s Team for ‘Pathetic’ Trump Tweet After Bomb Scare

MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” co-host Willie Geist blasted Bill de Blasio on Wednesday, saying it’s “pathetic” that New York City mayor’s staff would politicize a bomb scare at Trump Tower.

Trump Tower was partially evacuated in a potential bomb scare on Tuesday afternoon but the suspicious package was just an unattended bag of toys and posed no threat. A member of de Blasio’s staff tweeted that he would send Trump’s transition team the bill for the cost to evacuate the building.

“It’s just pathetic. It’s just sad,” Geist said. “That we’ve reached that point where there’s a bomb scare in the lobby and you tweet something cute about it.”

Co-host Mike Barnicle chimed in, “It’s embarrassing for the de Blasio administration.”

According to the Washington Post, the lobby of Trump Tower is accessible to the public from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. under the terms of an agreement with the city, making securing the building a headache for both NYPD and the Secret Service. De Blasio has repeatedly complained about the cost of protecting the building.

Trump Tower, a 58-floor skyscraper in midtown Manhattan, serves as the residence of President-elect Donald Trump, as well as the offices for both his business and transition teams as Trump prepares for his inauguration on Jan. 20.

Trump was not in Trump Tower at the time of the evacuation. The president-elect has been spending the holidays at his Palm Beach, Florida, resort called Mar-a-Lago.

The joke that didn’t land well with the “Morning Joe” team came after Trump’s press secretary Sean Spicer tweeted, “Back to work here at Trump tower after a false alarm. Thanks NYPD.”

No problem. We’ll send you the bill. https://t.co/mxbUqzgHds
