James Corden’s Crosswalk Musical ‘The Sound of Music’ Has a Problem to Solve – 2 Marias (Video)

James Corden was granted permission to do yet another Crosswalk the Musical — with the expectation he would include CBS stars like “Mom” leads Anna Faris and Allison Janney, “Young Sheldon”‘s Iain Armitage and “The Big Bang Theory”‘s Kunal Nayyar.

Tuesday’s edition of the segment, which aired during Corden’s “Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special,” featured a performance of “The Sound of Music,” in which the late-night host immediately took issue with Janney, who showed up ready to play Maria.

“I don’t know who she thinks she is, from Day 1 this company has had a fair and democratic audition process that always casts me in the lead role!” Corden said.

“Unfortunately I did agree to do this before I won the Oscar,” Janney noted. “There is no way I would have said yes now — but if I’m doing it you bet your sweet ass I’m playing Maria.”

The two agreed to both play the role first taken on by Julie Andrews in the 1965 classic — and it went about as well as you would think that decision would.

Janney and Corden swapped parts in between musical numbers like “The Sound of Music” and “My Favorite Things” as oncoming traffic was forced to come to halt.

Macaulay Culkin Remembers That Time He Took the ‘Most ’90s Photo Ever’ (Video)

There is ’90s nostalgia — and then there is this.

When former child star Macaulay Culkin sat down with Ellen DeGeneres on her show Monday to discuss his latest project, a podcast called “Bunny Ears,” she took the opportunity to go through photos of the actor that encapsulate the early years of his career.

And one of those pics just so happens to also be the “most ’90s photo” Culkin has ever seen.

DeGeneres went through a slideshow that included a shot of the actor kissing his “My Girl” co-star Anna Chlumsky, him in a bathtub doing a sketch for “Saturday Night Live” when he was nine years old, and then, the piece de resistance: a photo of Culkin, Doogie Howser (Neil Patrick Harris), the Fresh Prince (Will Smith), and Urkel (Jaleel White).

Culkin is doing the “Home Alone” face he perfected as his character from the film, Kevin McCallister, and says you can tell by that reaction he’s thinking, “This is so ’90s.” “I’m probably wearing Rebook Pumps, or something,” he added.

John Oliver’s Catheter Cowboy is back, and this time he’s trying to get Donald Trump to reconsider his stance against the terms of the Iran nuclear deal.

On Sunday, the HBO host went hard in support of the current agreement with Iran, going so far as to blow up a nice-looking American family who was just trying to enjoy dinner to make his point. Oliver even nuked that intolerable Kars 4 Kids TV ad — and he showed no remorse for it.

“I’m glad those children are dead,” the “Last Week Tonight” show host said after dropping the big one on the annoying band of youngsters.

‘Scandal’ Cast Pranks Josh Malina With an Old Lady and Her Fake Heart Attack (Video)

You think you’re pretty clever, don’t you, Josh Malina? Well, the jokes on you for the very first time, thanks to an elaborate hoax the cast of “Scandal” threw their notorious prankster co-star into — thanks to a little help from Jimmy Kimmel.

When the Shondaland show’s cast appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” following the series finale on Thursday, the host rolled tape of the revenge he helped Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) and Associates pull off on the actor, who plays David Rosen — and is known for being more than a bit of a troublemaker on set.

Kimmel set up Malina to think he and co-star Katie Lowes (who plays Quinn Perkins) were going to surprise a family watching “Scandal,” but little did he know they were actually actors. And he was about to give an elderly woman a “heart attack” by popping a very loud canister of confetti.

The resulting scene is both horrifying and hilarious — as we know that Nana will be OK, but Malina didn’t. He bends down by her side as they and says, “It was supposed to be a nice surprise, not a horrible surprise!” and wonders why no one told them about her heart condition.

Then, Kimmel comes in with Guillermo Rodriguez and Malina knows what’s up. “That’s the worst thing that anyone has ever done to me! That is the worst that anyone has ever done to anybody!” he says.

Well, thinking he may have killed someone is hopefully enough retribution for all the ways he’s messed with his castmates over the years. Maybe.

Why ‘Westworld’ Star Evan Rachel Wood Turned Down ‘Mean Girls’ (Video)

While you watch “Westworld” on Sunday, think about how good Evan Rachel Wood would have been in “Mean Girls.”

Yeah, that almost happened. The actress behind the HBO series’ lead robot host Dolores Abernathy not only auditioned for the 2004 Tina Fey feature comedy, she “turned it down.”

“There’s a good reason,” Wood assured Jimmy Fallon on Thursday’s “Tonight Show.” “I was already supposed to do a film called ‘Pretty Persuasion’ that was set in a high school that was very ‘Heathers’-esque. And it was very similar. I was already kind of doing that, so I was like, ‘I can’t [do ‘Mean Girls’].”

We guess that checks out. Wood did not reveal which role she was offered, but the talented singer sure hopes to get a second crack at a Fey movie. Maybe Fallon, Fey’s friend and former “Weekend Update” partner, can help.

“As long as the next movie you’re doing is not about a robot uprising, I will happily [do it],” Wood simultaneously told the “30 Rock” creator and Fallon’s 30 Rock studio audience last night.

Um, we’ve got some bad news for you, Evan. Somewhere, Lindsay Lohan is brushing up on her A.I.

James Corden’s ‘Shaqnado’ Is Somehow Worse Than ‘Sharknado’ (Video)

You guys know how “Sharknado” is terrible, right? Well, allow us to introduce James Corden’s “Shaqnado,” which is somehow even worse than the goofy Syfy TV-movie franchise.

On Wednesday’s “Late Late Show,” Corden and Victoria Beckham teamed up to save the world from a tornado filled with Shaquille O’Neals. There is only way to stop such a storm in its path of destruction: “Make it shoot a free throw,” the CBS personality tells his Spice Girl guest.

Of course that’s the solution.

Ric Flair just went “Woo!” on you, err, people.

The professional wrestling icon joined Migos’ Offset and Metro Boomin Tuesday for a performance of their “Ric Flair Drip.” Though the Nature Boy didn’t put anyone in a Figure Four leg-lock, Flair proved he’s still got some moves in the ring.

Yeah, it’s a weird partnership and the song isn’t the best — but whatever, the legend is having a good time with it.
