Glenn Beck Calls Hillary Clinton ‘Moral, Ethical Choice’ for President

Conservative pundit Glenn Beck said “the world does not end” if Hillary Clinton wins the presidential election because she “can be fought.”

“If the consequence of standing against Trump and for principles is indeed the election of Hillary Clinton, so be it,” Beck wrote in a Facebook message.

Beck explained that Clinton’s “nominees can be blocked, her proposed laws voted down” and said the “alternative does not offer a moral person the same opportunity.”

On Friday, The Washington Post published a video featuring Trump on a hot mic boasting to Billy Bush about kissing, groping and having sex with women.

“When you’re a star, they let you do anything… I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything,” Trump said. “Grab ‘em by the p-y.”

Ryan is one of numerous GOP leaders who have backed off support for Trump since the audio tapes were released. In response, Trump tweeted, “Disloyal R’s are far more difficult than Crooked Hillary. They come at you from all sides. They don’t know how to win – I will teach them!”

Beck, a Republican who never backed Trump, recently told Vice he’d vote for Constitution Party candidate Darell Castle. He admitted he thought about voting for Clinton but said, ‘I can’t do it.”

Every person, each of us must decide what is a bridge too far.

Mike Lee has obviously reached that point, where the moral compromise his party is asking him to make is simply beyond what is acceptable.

It is not acceptable to ask a moral, dignified man to cast his vote to help elect an immoral man who is absent decency or dignity.

If the consequence of standing against Trump and for principles is indeed the election of Hillary Clinton, so be it. At least it is a moral, ethical choice.

If she is elected, the world does not end…. Once elected, Hillary can be fought. Her tactics are blatant and juvenile, and battling her by means of political and procedural maneuvering or through the media , through public marches and online articles, all of that will be moral, worthy of man of principal.

Her nominees can be blocked, her proposed laws voted down.

The alternative does not offer a moral person the same opportunity. If one helps to elect an immoral man to the highest office, then one is merely validating his immorality, lewdness, and depravity.

But it’s OK, at least it is not her! Right??

No.

Lee’s call for Trump to step down and withdraw from the race is respectful to him and to the process.

Trump stepping down does not guarantee a Clinton win, but it does guarantee that the Republican party still stands for something, still allows its members to maintain thier own self respect and that it still has a future.

Samantha Bee Shreds ‘Rancid Meatloaf’ Donald Trump’s Debate Performance (Video)

Samantha Bee destroyed Donald Trump over his performance at the second Presidential debate, referring to the GOP standard bearer as “a crotch-fondling slab of rancid meatloaf.”

“Moderators Anderson Cooper and Martha Raddatz gamely carried on as if this whole evening weren’t completely insane, because as we all know, presidential debates typically feature one candidate threatening to jail his opponent, then stalking her around the stage like he’s Leatherface, and finally fornicating with a chair,” Bee said.

“Instead of the dynamic lunatic Trump we got in the first debate, we got the Fat Elvis version: sluggish, bloated, and judging by his answers, possibly medicated,” Bee continued.

Bee also mocked Trump’s complaints that he wasn’t given as much time to answer questions as Hillary Clinton. “The biased concept of linear time showed Trump spoke for 40:10 while Hillary spoke for 39:05, which makes Trump the real clock gobbler,” she said.

Bee’s strongest attack against Trump came at his repeated assertions that the 2005 tape that leaked last week in which he discussed groping women was simply “locker room talk.”

“Oh, that thing I still have nightmares about was just locker room talk and not sexual assault? Woo! Goodbye, PTSD!” she said. “Also, you weren’t in a locker room, you sleazy pair of sweat socks. You were at work!”

Donald Trump Lashes Out at ‘Disloyal’ Republicans, Paul Ryan: ‘I Will Teach Them!’

Donald Trump unleashed a series of tweets on Tuesday morning that indicate he will change strategies now that so many Republican leaders have withdrawn their support following the release of lewd sexual comments caught on a hot mic a decade ago.

“It is so nice that the shackles have been taken off me and I can now fight for America the way I want to,” Trump tweeted. “With the exception of cheating Bernie out of the nom the Dems have always proven to be far more loyal to each other than the Republicans!”

Trump added, “Our very weak and ineffective leader, Paul Ryan, had a bad conference call where his members went wild at his disloyalty.”

3,000 Sexual Assault Survivors Tell GOP ‘Stop Enabling Trump’ in Full-Page Washington Post Ad

A full-page ad in Tuesday’s edition of the Washington Post signed by 3,000 survivors of sexual assault calls for Republican leaders, candidates and elected officials to denounce presidential nominee Donald Trump and withdraw support from his candidacy.

UltraViolet Action, a national women’s advocacy organization, paid for the ad that states: “Stop Enabling Trump.”

“We write as survivors of sexual assault to express our disgust at the Republican nominee for President’s vile treatment of women, and to express profound disappointment in your continued support of his candidacy,” the ad says.

The background of the ad features the names of victims in tiny print, and says Trump’s words have a “horrifying impact” on assault survivors.

“Donald Trump is a dangerous, predatory misogynist and the living embodiment of rape culture — asserting he has the right to assault women simply because he’s famous,” UltraViolet Action co-founder Shaunna Thomas said in a statement. “With one-in-five women in the US facing sexual assault in their lifetimes, it’s because of men like Donald Trump and his political allies that this national epidemic is so intractable. Republicans must do more than just disavow these horrific comments – they need to actively denounce Donald Trump and his campaign for President. Survivors of sexual assault deserve better.”

Chris Christie Calls Donald Trump’s Lewd Talk ‘Completely Indefensible’ – But ‘Still Supporting’ Him Anyway

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is “still supporting” Donald Trump, despite calling the GOP presidential candidate’s recently published lewd sexual comments “completely indefensible.”

Christie appeared on WFAN’s “Boomer and Carton” radio show Tuesday morning and finally discussed Trump’s conversation with Billy Bush in which Trump essentially brags about making sexual advances to married women.

“It is completely indefensible. I won’t defend it and haven’t defended it,” Christie said.

Carton then asked Christie if he thinks Trump’s apology was enough and the governor replied, “I didn’t think it was.”

Christie continued: “I told him that. I would have done it much differently. I do think he’s sorry and I do think he’s embarrassed by it. No question in mind about it, I was there when he found out about it. There is no question in my mind he’s embarrassed by it.”

The politician said he is “still supporting Donald,” but “was disappointed by what happened” and also disappointed by Trump’s initial response.

While discussing the interview on “Morning Joe,” MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough said, “It wasn’t really a strong, robust defense of Donald Trump.”

“It wasn’t as strong as they’d like in Trump Tower, but compared to people who have abandoned Trump completely, it’s the least of their worries right now,” Bloomberg’s Mark Halperin added.

Christie was one of the first prominent Republicans to publicly support Trump and many insiders felt he was going to be the vice president on the GOP ticket, but that honor went to Mike Pence.
