A man who allegedly broke into singer Rihanna’s home has been charged with felony counts of stalking, first-degree residential burglary and vandalism, along with a misdemeanor count of resisting arrest, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office said Monday.
Eduardo Leon faces up to six years in state prison if convicted as charged.
Leon is accused of breaking into Rihanna’s Hollywood Hills home on May 9, hopping a fence and entering the residence.
Rihanna was not home at the time of the alleged incident, the district attorney’s office said.
Leon is accused of staying inside the home for approximately 12 hours. He was arrested the following day after Rihanna’s assistant discovered him, according to the district attorney’s office.
The LAPD is still investigating the case.
