OK, try to stay with us here.

Daniel Pyne (“Fracture,” “The Manchurian Candidate”) has taken over as “Bosch” showrunner, replacing Eric Overmyer in the role.

As previously reported, Overmyer dropped the day-to-day duties on the  Amazon original series to be the showrunner on another, “The Man in the High Castle.” There, he replaced Frank Spotnitz, who left the role mid-production on Season 2.

Joining “Bosch” as an executive producer is John Mankiewicz (“House of Cards,” “House”), a regular collaborator of Pyne’s. Overmyer will remain an executive producer on “Bosch.” Got all that?

Based on the best-selling Michael Connelly mystery novels, “Bosch” is currently in production on Season 3, and already has a Season 4 order from Amazon. The author has an executive producer credit on the series.

The hour-long series “Bosch” stars Titus Welliver as Detective Harry Bosch, Jamie Hector as Jerry Edgar, Amy Aquino as Lt. Grace Billets, Madison Lintz as Maddie Bosch and Lance Reddick as Deputy Chief Irvin Irving.

“Bosch” was developed for television by Overmyer. In addition to all those mentioned above, “Bosch” is also executive produced by Henrik Bastin and Pieter Jan Brugge. Welliver also serves as producer.
